We believe that if we invest in young people we will have a sustainable future that will contribute to our societies and the well-being of our planet. One way to do that is to promote a sustainable education and support those communities that don’t have enough resources to get by using communal school supplies in the school community. Therefore, our main objective is to help students realize their own potentials by providing them tools and supplies they need during their educational formation. To do that, we realized that we need to;

  • Fund Spark Initiative Programs in a sustainable manner

  • Employ local people in our host communities

  • Establish – Spark as a brand that radiates and provides hope and happiness to our clients and to the communities we serve

Spark Initiative must be a sustainable organization to fund for our future projects. Funding and solicitations is the most difficult part of the outreach process: We came up with an idea that there is a need for us to establish a social venture for a more sustainable funding in providing services to the communities we want to serve. “It only takes a SPARK to ignite a dream” is our motto. We believe that we only need one helping hand to help each other succeed.

Our Social Venture Project: Spark tried to launch this project in 2017 (after our 2nd outreach program) and it did not materialize because we are lacking financial resources. With your financial contributions, we are confident to make this project happen.

 The funds will to kick start a Spark Social Venture to sell merchandise and use the net profit to fund Spark Initiative Projects!

Our community in the city will benefit from the social venture, while our serving communities in the highlands will benefit from the sustainable projects on education that we initiate. We will continue to provide “SDG4 Supply Chest” to our communities until we reach all elementary schools in every villages of our home town, San Marcelino and eventually the province of Zambales in a longer run.

With our initiative and the values we share with our sponsored communities: Bayanihan (Filipino term for “sharing community”), we aim to promote education sustainability by providing resources that they can share in their school communities. We aim to serve elementary schools because this age period builds the foundation of their basic education to read, write and speak a language. Our role is very minimal; and our hope is to achieve a lasting impact by helping our sponsored students to bring “Spark” in their lives. We believe that if we invest in young people, we will have the most desirable, positive and responsible world citizens.
